Cheri from Dear Reader asked me to create some artwork for their upcoming South African tour. The work is based on her latest album ‘Rivonia’ in which she explores the sensitive terrain of giving song to a variety of South African identities and stories, whilst simultaneously being aware of one’s own subject position.
